‘Genocídio do Yanomami’ (Yanomami Genocide) is a major monograph by Claudia Andujar, published by Void and developed in close collaboration with Galeria Vermelho (São Paulo, Brazil). It brings together an extensive body of previously unpublished photographs made between 1971 and 1989 among the Yanomami. Originally shot in black and white, Andujar rephotographed and re-illuminated these images in 1989, revealing new angles and distortions—reshaping their meaning and urgency for that moment and the years that followed. Alongside her artistic work, Andujar co-founded the Pro-Yanomami Commission in 1978 with Yanomami leader Davi Kopenawa, a 14-year effort that led to the demarcation of Yanomami Territory in 1992. Yet the struggle continues: illegal mining and state violence persist. This book bears witness to a people whose future has been continually threatened, and whose survival remains a fierce, ongoing resistance.

‘Fishworm’ is about dykes digging through trash.

“Created over the past 7 years, collecting stuff people have thrown away or forgotten about —mostly photos— sifting through abandoned house debris, upturned moldy cardboard boxes, the mouse shit-filled hunting camp at the end of the road, a local politician’s discarded gay porn collection, a junk shop near the waterfall, yard sale trash piles. The result is a jumbled, revised, chopped and screwed history (antique-y2k) of old mill towns in the Sandy River Valley and villages nestled in the pines. If you feel slightly uneasy here, so do we, being gay and trans women in a rural place, trying to find belonging in the same types of places we've lived our whole lives. Piecing the images together is an attempt to make sense of where you fit in a culture that doesn’t always want you, and how you can love a place that doesn’t always love you back. The images in ‘Fishworm’ were found within a 60-mile radius of the artists’ home in rural central Maine. Everything is scanned with an old xerox found sitting in the rain outside of the town fire department on Heavy Dump Day in 2024.” — Pia & Jesse

‘As Long as the Sun Lasts’
by Joselito Verschaeve

17,1 x 24,4 cm
144 pages
Hardcover with French folds

‘As Long as the Sun Lasts’ is Joselito Verschaeve’s second monograph, following his acclaimed debut ‘If I call stones blue it is because blue is the precise word’. The book follows Joselito Verschaeve’s characteristic working process: building an ever-growing archive of photographs from daily encounters, sketching ideas, and drawing from this pool of images to shape a new story. For this book, the photographs conjure a world that feels close to its ending. They pulse with a soft melancholy, as if the light itself were counting down.

‘What if Jeff were a butterfly?’
by Jeff Mermelstein

16,8 x 23 cm
224 pages
Screenprinted Hardcover

Jeff Mermelstein has spent decades photographing New York. Fast, funny, sharp, catching what most of us miss. Here, he turns the camera inward, starting with flowers: perhaps the most photographed subject in history, and possibly the most avoided, for that very reason. From there, the work unfolds through pages of journals, family snapshots, phone notes, and previously unseen prints drawn from an intimate investigation of Jeff Mermelstein’s archive and personal memorabilia. Together, they form a quiet portrait of attention, finding beauty in the everyday and meaning in the small things that make up a life.
